“We wish we Knew about hospice care sooner”
This is what families always tell us.
What is Hospice?
VNA Hospice is a program to help you care for someone with a life limiting illness. We provide a supportive service that helps provide comfort care to patients and emotional support for family members. “Comfort, Care, Compassion” is our guiding philosophy.
When is it time for hospice?
People often say to us, “I thought hospice was for people who are dying in a few weeks or a few months.” Hospice is perfect for situations when your loved one is declining and you need help. Some patients are on hospice for more than a year.
What does Hospice do?
